Явился ему Господь и говорит: «Паисие, если хочешь не раздражаться, то ничего не пожелай, никого не осуди и не возненавидь, и не будешь раздражаться». Так всякий человек, если отсекает свою волю пред Богом и людьми, всегда будет мирен в душе, а кто любит творить волю свою, тот никогда не будет мирен.

Everyone wants to have peace, but they don't know how to achieve it. Paisius the Great has lost temper and asked the Lord to save him from irritability. The Lord appeared to him and said: “Paisius, if you want not to be irritated, then do not wish for anything, do not judge anyone and do not hate, and you will not be irritated.” So every person, if he cuts off his will before God and people, will always be peaceful in his soul, and whoever loves to do his will will never be peaceful.
